Our mission
Erdenheim Farm Foundation is a nonprofit that connects children, families and schools with a working farm in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania. Through a summer day camp, school field trips and farm visits, we offer hands-on outdoor learning about animals, agriculture and caring for the land.
The farm
Erdenheim Farm is a working farm in Lafayette Hill, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, next door to Philadelphia's Chestnut Hill, along Flourtown Road and Stenton Avenue. Its pastures and fields have been farmed since colonial times, and they still are.
The fields and pastures have stayed open since 1971, and most of the farm has been under a conservation easement since 2009.
What we do
- Summer day camp: six weeks of day camp on the farm in summer 2027.
- School visits: field trips on the farm for school groups.
